Thanks!

You’re nearly there.

We’re busy checking your details now. We’ll get back to you in a few minutes, whether you’re qualified to use our service or not.

Guarantid’s mission is to help internationals, self-employed, students, and others to rent on fair terms in the UK, even if they don’t have a credit file here. We believe all tenants should have the same renting opportunities, no matter where they come from.

What happens next?

If you’re approved, we’ll send you an email confirming the cost to use our service. And with Guarantid, you’ll pay 45% less than you would with other UK guarantor services.

1. Choose us as your guarantor

It's the first step to securing your new home. To be your guarantor, we ask you to pay our fee, which is equivalent to 5.8% of your year’s rent (roughly 3 weeks of rent).

2. Confirm your details

Send us your ID, proof of current residency (e.g a phone bill), and basic details of your income or studies. This helps us to confirm the information you gave us in your application.

3. Move in to your new home!

We send you a guarantid service agreement, which is a contract that declares we’ll pay your outstanding rent if you default on the payments. Sign it, show it to your agency, and enjoy your new home!

Once you’ve signed the Guarantor Agreement, you can go back to your landlord/agency, present your agreement, and get the keys to your new home!

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I do if my landlord/agency has doubts or questions about guarantid?

First of all, don’t worry—we’re here to help you get the home you want!

We’re happy to speak to your landlord/agency for you and answer any questions they have. Just email us their contact details and we’ll get in touch with them.

What happens to my fee if the landlord won’t accept guarantid as my guarantor?

In the unlikely event that they won’t accept us as your guarantor, we’ll refund your fee immediately.

We’ll also refund you if there are changes to the property outside of your control that mean you can no longer move in.

What's guarantid's payment policy?

It's our policy that tenants pay our fee before preparing any service agreements. As soon as the guarantid service agreement is signed, we’re legally bound to pay your outstanding rent if you default.

If you decide not to move in to your property or need to cancel the guarantid agreement, the fee is 100% refundable.

To make things easier, we give you the option to split our fee into two payments. If you are interested, please reach out to support@guarantid.com
